As dealers, vendors, and manufacturers converge on San Francisco this week, TK Carsites is very pleased to be getting in early and ramping up for some amazing events planned.
First, our very own JD Rucker will be delivering the final keynote at the Digital Marketing Strategies Conference prior to NADA. The event, put on by PCG, features the brightest minds in advanced digital marketing within the automotive industry. While the event is sold out, much of it will be telecast (more information coming as it arrives), so people across the country will be able to see an impressive lineup of speakers:

The workshops, which will be extremely comprehensive, hands-on, and which will offer real-world advice that car dealers can apply immediately, will be led by Alex Snyder, Christine Rochelle, Gary May, Glenn Pasch, and Matt Murray.
The keynotes for the event will be JD, Jared Hamilton, Sean Wolfington, and Brian Pasch himself.
The event promises to not only supplement what the NADA 2011 convention offers, but perhaps help lead the charge as the example for the future. Can more value be derived from smaller, more personal conferences with a focus on education than the large trade-show-style that NADA presents?
In the past, it has been a necessity to attend large trade shows. There was really no way to see what products and services were available to help dealers succeed at sales, marketing, and operations.
Then, the Internet arrived and changed everything.
While trade shows such as NADA will always be a necessary part of the dealer experience, serving as a source for OEMs to meet with their dealers, for dealers to mingle with each other, and for vendors to show off their wares, is it really the best place for education and strategy?
We’ll see.
Beyond the DMSC, we will be attending NADA with scheduled and planned meetings throughout the week and weekend. It will be a great opportunity for current and future TK Carsites clients to meet face-to-face with President James Bradford and the other executives who will be attending.
At the end of NADA, we are proud to be a sponsor of the 2011 NADA Superbowl Party in San Francisco. Register today!
This will be an amazing week in San Francisco. We look forward to seeing as many of you as we can.
